Pre-Conference Workshop
NASH Salt Dilution Workshop – Canadian Water Resources Association
Date: Tuesday, October 6th
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: ONA Office for classroom portion. Powers Creek in Kelowna, BC for field portion. The field location is a short drive from the ONA office.
Please arrange for your own transportation.
Costs:
- CWRA members $60
- Non- CWRA members: $120
North America Stream Hydrographers (NASH) is pleased to announce it will be hosting a training event alongside the EFN conference in Kelowna, BC.
Build confidence in the field and the data you collect. This hands-on workshop will show you how to use salt dilution flow gauging across a wide range of conditions – from low flows to atmospheric river events. Network with fellow practitioners, vendors, academics, and consultants! Please note that lunch will be provided. Participants wishing to enter the water must bring their own PFD.
Refund Policy:
In the event a registrant decides to withdraw, NASH will refund all money up to 3 days prior to the start of the course. Within 3 days of the start of the course, no refund will be provided.

Environmental Flows 2026 is the third conference in this series and this year is hosted by the Okanagan Basin Water Board, the Okanagan Nation Alliance, and the Canadian Water Resources Association. Bringing together local, national and international expertise, the conference provides a forum to advance dialogue, share knowledge, and lived experiences to support the future of sustainable environmental flows.
