The Okanagan Nation Alliance, the Okanagan Basin Water Board, and the Canadian Water Resources Association welcome you to the 2026 Environmental Flows Conference — bringing together researchers, water managers, and Indigenous knowledge holders from across Canada and around the world to advance the science, policy, and practice of environmental flows.
Registration Includes
- Full attendance at the 3-day Environmental Flows Conference, October 7-9, 2026.
- Breakfasts, lunches, and refreshment breaks throughout the conference.
- Welcoming Reception on the evening of October 7, 2026, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow delegates, speakers, and sponsors.
- Optional “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?”** networking experience following the Welcoming Reception, allowing attendees to enjoy dinner in smaller groups hosted throughout Kelowna.
- Banquet Dinner on October 8, 2026. Guests may be added during registration for an additional $200 per person.
- Early morning wellness activities, including yoga and guided walks.
- Optional pre-conference experiences, including Okanagan wine tours and field trip opportunities, showcasing the region’s unique water, environmental, agricultural, and cultural features.
- Networking opportunities with water managers, researchers, Indigenous leaders, policymakers, industry professionals, and community partners.

Environmental Flows 2026 is the third conference in this series and this year is hosted by the Okanagan Basin Water Board, the Okanagan Nation Alliance, and the Canadian Water Resources Association. Bringing together local, national and international expertise, the conference provides a forum to advance dialogue, share knowledge, and lived experiences to support the future of sustainable environmental flows.
